I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Nikki Glaser for the latest Variety magazine cover—and she’s just as gorgeous and funny in person as she is on screen. The shoot took place at the beautiful Palm House Hotel in West Palm Beach, and while we were dealing with 91-degree heat and two surprise rain showers, Nikki brought such great energy that the day moved along with ease.

Her team was a joy to work with—styling by Dani and Emma Style, hair by Teryn Hair, and makeup by Haley Joy Page. Every look was vibrant and fresh, perfect for an editorial feature. I used my usual lighting setup: Profoto lights, the Elinchrom Octa, and my trusty “Uncle Sam” sunblock umbrella to help manage the Florida sun.
