Photographer West Palm Beach

Recently, I had the privilege of photographing Alexandra Cherubini and Margaret Bastick for Vivant Magazine in Wellington, Florida, just a stone’s throw from West Palm Beach. The setting was truly idyllic, featuring Alexandra alongside her stunning horses. These portraits beautifully captured their grace and the deep connections they share with their animals. As an editorial portrait photographer, moments like these are always inspiring. Fingers crossed, we make it to the cover of the magazine!

Outdoor portrait photography comes with its own set of challenges and opportunities. For this shoot, I relied on my go-to lighting equipment. My favorite brand, Profoto, provided the perfect balance of power and portability. I used a single light paired with a five-foot Elinchrom Octabox to create soft, natural lighting that complemented Alexandra and the setting. Additionally, a Sunbounce reflector helped fill in shadows, ensuring the images maintained a polished and professional look.

Avoiding direct sunlight was key. Instead, I utilized the sun as a backlight, giving Alexandra’s hair a beautiful halo effect while maintaining even exposure across the frame. Techniques like this are essential for any professional Palm Beach portrait photographer aiming to deliver exceptional results.

If you’re looking for a photographer in West Palm Beach who combines technical expertise with artistic vision, I’d love to help bring your story to life. From editorial portraits to commercial projects, capturing unique moments is my passion.
